Module Title : Labour Economics II
Module Description : This module provides advanced analyses of labour economics and industrial relations topics. Labour economics topics include the study of orthodox and contemporary wage theories, theories of discrimination, economics of migration, manpower policy, and recent developments in labour market theories such as job search theory, implicit contracts, efficiency wage and insider-outside models. On industrial relations, the role of various labour market institutions, important labour laws and current labour and industrial relations issues will be discussed.

Pre-requisite : Cohort 2011 and before: Completed 80MCs, including 28MCs in EC, with a minimum CAP of 3.50 or be on the Honours track.
