Module Title : Approaches to Japanese Studies I
Module Description : This module provides students with a practical skill base for further studies of Japan. We focus on developing three core skills : (1) Knowledge and use of Japanese studies source materials; (2) Knowledge and understanding of major debates within Japanese studies; and (3) Application of critical reading, writing, and research skills. The module is for those majoring or intending to major in the field of Japanese studies.
