(1) Application for Financial Aid / Donated Scholarships for Prospective Undergraduate Students

Application for Financial Aid for Academic Year 2018/2019

(a) Returning National Servicemen reading the iBLOC/Special Term modules

You may apply for Financial Aid from 13 October 2017 to 15 January 2018. Please apply under (1) Application for Financial Aid / Donated Scholarships for Prospective Undergraduate Students and select Academic Year 2018/2019 Semester 1 using your full-time undergraduate admission application no. and PIN*. You will also be automatically considered for Financial Aid for the Academic Year 2018/2019.

(b) Prospective Students reading the Academic Year 2018/19 modules

You may apply for Financial Aid once you have applied for admission. Application will close on 1 April 2018. Please apply under (1) Application for Financial Aid / Donated Scholarships for Prospective Undergraduate Students and select Academic Year 2018/2019 Semester 1 using your full-time undergraduate admission application no. and PIN*.

After 1 April 2018, if you are in need of financial assistance, you may login to state the reason(s) for your late application and proceed to apply accordingly. We will consider your application on a case-by-case basis.

* This set of admission application no. and PIN was given to you when you applied for admission to NUS full-time undergraduate course. Please do not use the set of admission application no. given to you during your application for the iBLOC Programme or Special Terms.

(c) Prospective Undergraduate Part-time Students

You will be informed via email through your faculty when Financial Aid opens for application.

Application for Donated Scholarships for AY2018/2019
Prospective students will be considered through their application for admission to NUS. No separate scholarship application is required. Please refer to your respective faculty’s website for the application details for scholarships administered by the faculties.


(2) Application for Financial Aid / Donated Scholarships for Existing Undergraduate Students

(a) Application for Financial Aid for Academic Year 2018/2019

Application is open from 1 February to 1 April 2018. Please apply under (2) Application for Financial Aid / Donated Scholarships for Existing Undergraduate Students, Academic Year 2018/2019 Semester 1.

(b) Application for Financial Aid for Academic Year 2017/2018

We are still accepting late applications. If you are in need of financial assistance, you may login to state the reason(s) for your late application and proceed to apply accordingly. We will consider your application on a case-by-case basis.

(c) Existing Undergraduate Students (Part-time)

You will be informed via email through your faculty when Financial Aid opens for application.

Application for Donated Scholarships for AY2018/2019

Application is open from 1 February to 1 April 2018. If you are also applying for Financial Aid, please select both schemes at the point of application. Please refer to your respective faculty’s website for the application details for scholarships administered by the faculties.

Application Form (Summary) and Supporting Documents for Financial Aid

The Application Form (Summary) and supporting documents are to reach the Office of Financial Aid (by post/hand) within two weeks from the online application date. You are also advised to login to view your application status or check your email account regularly to avoid missing any important message

Note: (1) Students who are offered admission without the MOE Tuition Grant will not be eligible for Financial Aid and Scholarships administered/co-administered by the University throughout their entire course candidature.

(2) Students who are reading the Concurrent Degree Programmes will no longer be eligible for the Financial Aid Package for undergraduate once they are charged graduate tuition fee. They can consider applying for Scholarships and Financial Aid for graduate students and more details can be found here.

Important Notes for Prospective Undergraduate Students
This section is applicable to Prospective students who have applied for admission or offered admission and have not done pre-registration online.
NSmen who are applying for admission to NUS or have accepted an offer into NUS are required to apply for Financial Aid only in the year that they are admitting.
