(1) Application for Financial Aid / Donated Scholarships for Prospective Undergraduate Students

Application for Financial Aid for Academic Year 2022/2023

(a) Returning National Servicemen reading the iBLOC/Special Term modules

You may apply for Financial Aid from 15 October 2021 to 15 January 2022. Please apply under (1) Application for Financial Aid / Donated Scholarships for Prospective Undergraduate Students and select Academic Year 2022/2023 Semester 1 using your full-time undergraduate admission application no. and PIN. Once you have applied for Financial Aid, you will be considered for Financial Aid for the Academic Year 2022/2023. Please DO NOT use the set of admission application no. given to you during your application for the iBLOC Programme or Special Terms.

(b) Prospective Students reading the Academic Year 2022/2023 modules

You may apply for Financial Aid once you have applied for admission. Application will close on the same date as your admission application deadline. Please apply under (1) Application for Financial Aid / Donated Scholarships for Prospective Undergraduate Students and select Academic Year 2022/2023 Semester 1 using your full-time undergraduate admission application no. and PIN.

(c) Prospective Undergraduate Part-time Students

You will be informed via email through your faculty when Financial Aid opens for application.

Application for Donated Scholarships for AY2022/2023
Prospective students will be considered through their application for admission to NUS. No separate scholarship application is required. Please refer to your respective faculty’s website for the application details for scholarships administered by the faculties.


(2) Application for Financial Aid / Donated Scholarships for Existing Undergraduate Students

(a) Application for Financial Aid for Academic Year 2022/2023

Applications open from 15 January till the end of the academic year. Apply by 1 March for an early consideration for NUS Donated Bursaries. Please apply under (2) Application for Financial Aid / Donated Scholarships for Existing Undergraduate Students, Academic Year 2022/2023 Semester 1.

(b) Application for Financial Aid for Academic Year 2021/2022

Applications are still open till the end of the Academic Year.

(c) Existing Undergraduate Students (Part-time)

You will be informed via email in December or July through your faculty when Financial Aid opens for application.

Application for Donated Scholarships for AY2022/2023

Application is open from 15 January to 31 July 2022. If you are also applying for Financial Aid, please select both schemes at the point of application. Please refer to your respective faculty’s website for the application details for scholarships administered by the faculties.


Submission of Supporting Documents for Financial Aid

After you have applied for Financial Aid, please upload your supporting documents via the application portal within two weeks of the online application date. Late submissions will still be processed but the application outcome will be delayed. You are also advised to login to view your application status or check your email account regularly to avoid missing any important message

Note: (1) International students who are offered admission without the MOE Tuition Grant or rejected the MOE Tuition Grant will not be eligible for Financial Aid and Scholarships administered/co-administered by the University throughout their entire course candidature.

(2) Students who are reading the Concurrent Degree Programmes will no longer be eligible for the Financial Aid Package for undergraduate once they are charged graduate tuition fee. They can consider applying for Scholarships and Financial Aid for graduate students and more details can be found here.

Important Notes for Prospective Undergraduate Students
This section is applicable to Prospective students who have applied for admission or offered admission and have not done pre-registration online.
NSmen who are applying for admission to NUS or have accepted an offer into NUS are required to apply for Financial Aid only in the year that they are admitting.
